In mid September McCain had pulled ahead of Obama in the polls and had a good chance of getting enough Independent votes to win since most Independents tend to be fiscal conservatives. Then we had the total meltdown of the financial system. After that, he didn&#039;t have a chance in hell of winning the election. It became &quot;IT IS THE ECONOMY STUPID!&quot; and the McCain machine, Conservatives and the RNC are rank amateurs as spin miesters compared to Democrats. Independents voted for Obama by 60% to 39%. There goes the election.</description>
