“I’m not sure if Mr. Obama considers my Christmas Eve release the equivalent of playing Santa Claus but, once again, Mr. Obama’s schedules and mine have aligned in a coincidental way.

“Last year after I headed for Honolulu to interview his grandmother, he suddenly appeared in Honolulu, also to visit his long-neglected grandmother. Coincidence?

“The Governor’s office in Hawai’i was pelted with faxes and e-mails from people who thought Obama was responding to my presence (I had no role in initiating any of those e-mails or faxes).

“My new short film, produced on location in Hawai’i, was supposed to have been released months ago. Due to my senate campaign and other delays the film is only being released now, on Christmas Eve before I return to Chicago. And the movie is being released just as Obama himself returns to Hawai’i.

“Once again, my ‘world view’ and Obama’s actions coincide. I point to Honolulu as the true spiritual home of Barack Obama. Chicago has always been a mere convenience. I doubt that Obama will ever live in Chicago again.

“As though on cue, Mr. Obama is ‘heading home for the holidays,’ to Honolulu, not Chi-town. Once again through ‘mere coincidence’ or unerring accuracy I have cast light on the ‘inner Obama.’

“‘Obama: The Hawai’i Years’ is not an attack on Obama. I always keep the personal and the political clinically separate. Rather, my directorial instincts sought to probe his adult character as an extension of his early life and formative years in Hawai’i.

“Honolulu is not Chicago or New York. Obama is not a New Yorker or a Chicagoan. Rather he has succeeded precisely because he managed to ‘port’ or ‘morph’ his transplanted Hawai’ian character into transient episodes in New York and Chicago. He slipped through the presidential election campaign intact.

“In any event, ‘Obama: the Hawai’i Years’ represents my artistic take on Barack Obama’s inner character and origins in Hawai’i. Whether you love him, as some do, or dislike him as many increasingly do, he managed to catapult himself into the White House.

“I immensely enjoyed producing the film. I am indebted to my many new Hawai’ian friends for their guidance and assistance. They have become my ‘ohana.’ And in my own small way I have become a ‘Kama’aina.’ I am sure I will be back to produce more detailed and elaborate versions of this film.

(NEW YORK)(December 4, 2009) Timing is everything. Earlier this week we formally announced the Second National Conference on Barack Obama’s Missing Birth Certificate and school records. As if on cue, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin endorsed our view that Obama should release his original birth certificate: http://www.dailykos.com/tv/w/002387/

Predictably, the mainstream media have launched attacks on Palin, using their same old lies about Barack Obama.

Ben Smith and Jed Lewison of Huffington Post (and Politico.com?) falsely claim that “FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate.” That is a bald-faced lie:

FACT: Obama’s ORIGINAL Hawai’i birth certificate has never been seen by FactCheck.Org or anyone else except possibly Dr. Chiyome Fukino of the State of Hawai’i Health Department. What Smith, Lewison and FactCheck.org saw is a laser print-out of information contained in a computer database. Nothing more. Why do these “journalists” keep lying to the public and claiming a print-out is a “copy?” Why? Whose cause are they really serving with their lies?

FACT: Neither Sarah Palin nor I are “birthers.” “Birther” is a term that the bogus media have invented to disparage persons who make legitimate inquiries about Obama’s origins in Hawai’i.

I have conducted on the scene scholarly research about Obama’s roots in Hawai’i. Our new movie could be released as early as next week: “Obama: The Hawai’i Years.”

What I have asked Hawai’i officials to do is produce their original “ribbon” copy of Obama’s 1961 birth certificate. (For those of you not old enough to know what a “ribbon copy” is, ancient devices known as “typewriters” used “ribbons” to make impressions on paper. Cormac McCarthy’s original 1963 typewriter is about to be auctioned as an antique. The original copy of a document, i.e. the one which the typewriter ribbon actually touched, was known as the “ribbon copy.”)

Hawai’i officials have never released Obama’s ribbon copy of his birth certificate, despite many demands, lawsuits, etc. I am continuing my litigation for access. Because I am currently a candidate for U. S. Senator [www.AndyforUSSenator.com], I was unable to actively pursue the litigation in August-November, but we are gearing up to go back to Hawai’i to pry loose the original, 1961 document once funds are available.

FactCheck.org does not claim that the bogus “original” they saw is in fact the 1961 document, or that their “document” is a photocopy of the original typewritten 1961 piece of paper. On its face the document purports to be nothing more than a database printout. Is this print-out a “legal” document? Yes, it is. But it is not a copy of Obama’s original birth record.

What is the significance of the missing document? The laser-printed output contains significantly less birth information than the original typewritten 1961 certificate.

So where do Sarah Palin and I on the one hand, and “birthers” differ? I have never stated that Obama was born anywhere but Hawai’i; nor, to the best of my knowledge has Governor Palin. We just want to review the original 1961 Hawai’i document to see what information Obama has concealed. It is a perfectly reasonable request to examine the original document because, love him or hate him, Obama is a figure in American history and his original birth document is a historical archive.

“Birthers,” on the other hand, have proffered wild claims that Obama was born in Kenya, or elsewhere. I have looked into these accusations and found no evidence to support them. No one has ever produced any credible or legally admissible evidence to sustain these claims. Bogus media, however like to clump everyone who wants access to Obama’s Hawai’i records as a “birther,” so they can tar and feather us with the antics of kooks such as Orly Taitz, Phil Berg and similar bunkum artists.

There is absolutely no connection between demands that Obama authorize release of what he claims is his original 1961 document and the entirely separate “birther” movement.

QUESTION: If Obama has nothing to hide, why is he still hiding the 1961 original? All he has to do is call Fukino and say “release it.”

Finally, I am gratified that both in her bestselling book and in her comments this week, Governor Palin has endorsed my efforts in 2008 to lay the unpleasant truths about Barack Obama before the American people:

After taking advantage of my expertise, Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch attacked me without any basis to do so, in a mendacious attempt to grovel before Obama & Co. Murdoch has never apologized for his malignant behavior. But I have been vindicated by history.

My Fox news comments clearly predicted where Obama would lead this nation, and my appearance on Hannity’s America became the single-most controversial TV moment in the entire 2008 presidential campaign, precisely because I “connected the dots” about Obama for a national TV audience.

(CHICAGO)(December 3, 2009) A third of a century ago, President Richard Nixon created the modern era of “separation of powers” jurisprudence by claiming “executive privilege” to prevent White House aides from testifying before Congress and courts. Nixon created a major constitutional scandal. And lost.

In 2009, the Obama Family White House, which is looking increasingly like the TV sitcom “The Jeffersons,” is claiming executive privilege to prevent staff members from disclosing the truth about the couple that has been called the “White House party crashers.” Tareq and Michaele Salahi may have to star in a new sitcom, the “Real Housewives of the White House.”

By “stonewalling” the Congress (“stonewalling” is another “Watergate word”) Obama is making what should have been a minor embarrassment into a minor constitutional scandal. Like Nixon, he’s losing.

As the overall history of the episode unfolds it increasingly appears as though the Salahis were trying to be legitimately invited, and crossed-signals existed at several levels.

African-Americans, of course, are trying to convert the embarrassing incident of the Salahi social climbers into a national security threat involving potential terrorists. Congressman Bennie Thompson is trying to revive fears of a racial attack on Obama. I don’t think the Salahis’ misbehavior is a light matter, but it is equally not a threat to the republic. In fact, security services often learn from their occasional mistakes. Let’s hope the Secret Service did. No one wishes the Obamas any physical harm.

It is clear that in trying to do things their way, “the Chicago Way,” the Obamas are increasingly taking on the airs of “The Jeffersons,” the social climbing TV sitcom family with whom the Obamas seem to share some characteristics. Why was security reduced after Obama took over the White House? Trying to make the place look more open? Putting on the Ritz? Ooops.

The Salahis and Obamas could also be peas in the same pod, or podcast. The Salahis were trying to crash a party at the White House; the Obamas crashed the White House in 2008, with a campaign of lies and misrepresentations that were much more toxic than the Salahis’ pretensions.

Obama had no business in the White House. In that regard, he shares a lot in common with Tareq and Michaele Salahi.

Turning from the Jeffersons/Obamas/Salahis to Tiger Woods, I have resurrected another old Illinois political chestnut: “What was he thinking?” How did Woods think he could get away with it?

Tiger Woods’ “prossies” are popping up like daisies. If one lady really got $150,000 for her story, there may be more “lovers” of Mr. Woods who wish to appear. Woods’ defense? He says his family “intimacy” must be private, and can only be “shared by us alone.” Some “intimacy.”

It seems to me Woods was sharing his charms with a lot of people that are clearly not part of his “family,” unless Woods’ definition of “family” is very different than the common American usage of the term. Greeks call everyone “cousin.” Does Woods call all of these ladies “mama?”

Woods can’t invoke “executive privilege” to shield his mendacity and hypocrisy, so he is invoking the common man’s version of executive privilege, “privacy.” But how can you be “private” when your picture is splattered across almost every wall in every air terminal around the United States? How indeed.

How can you be a model for young people when they listen to the alleged “sex tapes” of Woods trying to cover up his embarrassing disclosures? Or the messages boasting of his prowess in matters not involving a caddy?

Mr. Woods has received bad advice. If he had owned up to his mistakes and been honest and open about his marital problems, instead of repeatedly invoking “privacy,” the scandal might have gone away. Every day brings new disclosures of infidelity and new women seeking a payout (is it a “handout”) for baring all about their time spent in the sack with the Tiger.

The only thing missing: when is Tiger going to try and crash a White House party, claming that is the only place he feels private enough? It’s coming. Can the Tiger Woods “birthers” be far behind?

The silly season of mid-December news is upon us. What? There’s no Santa Claus? Omigod. What will they expose next? Isn’t Santa entitled to his privacy? Doesn’t he deserve some “executive privilege” with his elves at the North Pole?

Is Santa really going to replace Rudolph and the reindeer with a golf cart? Only Tiger Woods can tell us. And he’s not talking. Remember, if you decide to get Santa’s attention, bash in the rear windows to see his reaction, not the driver-side window. Not at all. As Santa would say, “Ho. Ho. Ho.” Or as Tiger Woods would say: “ho, ho, ho.” Where are the Salahis and Obamas when we really need them? Watching reruns of “The Jeffersons,” no doubt.

It has been nearly six months since we have had to solicit any financial support for our efforts. The Committee’s financial resources are once again depleted.

Here is what we need:

Second National Conference:

We are convening a Second National Conference on Barack Obama’s missing birth certificate and missing high school/college/law school records. We estimate that the cost of producing the conference will be approximately $2,000, covering space rental, videotaping (for Internet posting), editing, etc. If you can contribute financially to helping us run a successful conference, please do. If you can also attend, more’s the better.

“Obama: The Hawai’i Years”:

Our short film “Obama: The Hawai’i Years” is almost ready to view. We plan to release it before the National Conference in December. We are still short of money to complete the project and are running in a deficit situation. We need $7,500 to finish the project. If we receive $10,000 we will be able to afford to post the entire film on the Internet unedited, instead of posting it on YouTube in short segments.

In the film we ask the questions that we have asked in the past, as well as making new inquiries. We offer some new, expanded answers. And we do so with pictures of Hawai’i and Obama’s early years. And, finally, we point to the unanswered questions about Barack Obama’s family history.

Even though I am very knowledgeable about Obama’s past, actually producing the script and going to Honolulu to shoot the film helped me to probe deeper into the mysteries surrounding the man. Obama’s opaque “roots” are not something that can be deciphered in one pass.

We need your financial support to do justice to the historical research we are conducting and producing.

Unlike some of Obama’s critics, I have been scrupulously honorable and honest in seeking only the truth about him, and trying to find only the facts about his past. Because of my passion for the truth and the facts, I seem to get under Obama’s skin, whereas his critics who float unsustainable theories are ignored. Obama wants to hide the truth; help us in our search for the facts.
