Hon. Joe Foster

Attorney General

33 Capitol Street

Concord, NH 03301

Re: Potential lawsuit against you for ultra vires actions

Dear General Foster:

You have recently made some very inflammatory and, frankly, irrational statements concerning the President Trump’s efforts to protect the United States from immigration problems. With all due respect, I believe that while you are free to present your views as a private citizen, as an appointed official of the State of New Hampshire whose public office is subject to and governed by statutes, you are not free to waste state assets propagating left-wing Democratic Party propaganda.

I am therefore writing to give notice that if you follow through on your plans to apparently join frivolous out-of-state litigation by other state attorneys general with too much time and money on their hands, and divert New Hampshire resource and the time of assistant attorneys general on your staff, I will file a lawsuit to enjoin you from taking part in such activity. I believe your actions would be ultra vires to the limited rights and duties embodied in your office. Again, I recognize that as a private citizen you are free to pop and toot as a goofy liberal Democrat; as a public official paid for by New Hampshire taxpayers you have to respect the limits of your official position and not use your office to grandstand or vindicate a political agenda.

  1. The State of New Hampshire

The State of New Hampshire is the embodiment of “small government” and limited government. We are not New York or California or one of the other loony left states. Our state government is provided by the taxpayers through the General Court and state constitution with limited revenues, not a credit card for unlimited excursions into public expenditure.

Like most New Hampshire citizens I am the product of immigration. My maternal grandparents immigrated to Manchester over 100 years ago, see AndyMartinNewHampshire100.com. So I am not anti-immigrant. But at a time of increasing worldwide terror risks, I am pro-national security. I am very comfortable with a “time out” to immigration from unstable nations lacking robust government institutions to put down terrorist threats.

  1. The Office of Attorney General

Before sending this letter I spent time doing research on the New Hampshire Constitution and New Hampshire Statutes. My due diligence did not find anything in Title 1, Chapter 7 of the New Hampshire Statutes that authorizes you to engage in litigation concerning the rights of foreign individuals or others who may not have immediate disputes with the State of New Hampshire. Therefore, your announcement that you apparently contemplate joining frivolous lawsuits filed by other state attorneys general is ultra vires to your office. If private entities have legal claims under the president’s policy, they are free to pursue them. I do not believe New Hampshire taxpayers have claims against President Trump’s immigration policies.

  1. Your statements concerning President Trump

You accused President Trump of engaging in an “unconstitutional assault” which violated “principles that are fundamental to our democracy.” Other than an isolated number of foreign citizens that served the military and were entitled to preferential treatment entering the United States, no foreign citizen has a generalized “right” to enter the United States. People with Green Cards and valid visas were clearly inconvenienced and I hope that the federal government will do everything possible to correct those mistakes and compensate for the unnecessary disruption. But there is simply no basis for your exaggerated and inflammatory rhetoric attacking the president. I repeat that in your private capacity you are free to make idiotic remarks. But when you use the letterhead of your public office, and the power and budget of your office, to publish doggerel, you are acting “unconstitutionally” and launching an “assault” on the rights of New Hampshire taxpayers who govern your behavior as a public official.

You need to understand that both federal statutes and the U. S. Constitution provide the president and his administration with exceptionally broad authority to regulate who enters and leaves the United States. Those powers do not accrue to your own office. The president, not you or I, gets to be the decision maker.

  1. The lawsuits filed last weekend

Ironically, I agree that there may have been a limited basis for the lawsuits that were filed last weekend. Like you, I am not an expert in the minutiae of immigration law. But I suspect some of the administrative action taken by the federal government did not comport with the sprit of the President’s intention in signing his Executive Order.

It is also my view, however, that substantially all of the problems created by improvident enforcement of a valid order have now been alleviated or are in the process of being alleviated administratively. Thus, the “problem” giving rise to the lawsuits is over.

On the merits, to the extent that the pending or proposed state attorneys general litigation seeks to challenge and undermine the broad authority of the president and federal government in areas of foreign relations and immigration, where presidential powers and prerogatives are paramount, the lawsuits are ultimately frivolous and will not be successful.

As a constitutional scholar I see no conflict between the lawsuits that may have had an initial basis for judicial intervention last weekend, but which are now unnecessary because the legal basis for those claims has evaporated as the government responds to the lawsuits and takes corrective action. If you do not have a constitutional scholar on your staff I would be happy to volunteer my services and opinions pro bono.

I do not consider your office under New Hampshire law to be a “roving commission to do equity,” Moushigian v. Marderosian, 764 F.3rd 123 (1st Cir. 2014). The same limits apply to your office as enunciated by the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, in an opinion by Judge McCafferty who normally sits in Concord.

  1. The “Will of the People”

Ultimately, unless the “will of the people” reflects some unconstitutional or unlawful intention, that “will” as implemented by the president and congress should be respected. Americans voted for change, even in New Hampshire where President Trump’s electoral votes were stolen by liberal Democrats who encourage unlawful out-of-state voting in our elections.

Most Americans want limits placed on immigration and Trump’s limits were and remain reasonable. I don’t think any of us, from Trump down to the single voter, has a concrete vision of what has to be done to conclusively protect us from unwise immigration and terrorism. That’s why Trump’s order was limited in time and scope. Trump is exploring alternatives and options.

The federal government has a right to take tentative steps without being bombarded with lawsuits making grossly exaggerated claims, or by flatulent rhetoric such as your own remarks.

Reasonable people can argue – we can – as to how the president should implement his agenda. But every coffee table policy difference with President Trump is not a trigger to file a frivolous lawsuit or stage a ridiculous demonstration.

  1. Please help safeguard New Hampshire’s treasury

Former Governor Hassan, your boss, concealed tens of millions of dollars in state spending in order to fraudulently induce voters to support her election to higher office. She left the state in a mess. If not for the fortitude of the General Court (legislature), New Hampshire today would be another Illinois. Luckily, legislators had implemented sound fiscal policies and Hassan’s damage was limited. Nevertheless, we do not have money to waste on frivolous lawsuits over federal policies which do not concern your office.

I urge you to avoid the necessity for me to file a lawsuit by exercising the discretion that should be inherent in your office and by avoiding participation in any lawsuits seeking to malign President Trump for trying to do his job. If you proceed with your apparent course of action, I shall file suit in the Superior Court to enjoin your ultra vires activity. We may have a state judiciary that is dominated by Democrats; but even Democrats should be governed by common sense and the limits of New Hampshire law and the New Hampshire Constitution.

I am confident President Trump and his administration can both comply with the law and implement their policies without input from your office. Please do not waste our precious New Hampshire tax dollars on wild goose chases.

Respectfully submitted,

ANDY MARTIN

Andy Martin: The New York Times lies when it says President Trump’s voter fraud claims are a “fantasy”

The New York times has accused President Trump of engaging in “fantasy” when Trump says voter fraud is a major problem. Conservative New Hampshire Republican Party activist Andy Martin shows how Democratic election fraud cheated President Trump out of New Hampshire’s electoral votes in November, and how U. S. Senator Kelly Ayotte was cheated out of reelection, almost certainly on the basis of fraudulent Massachusetts and other out-of-state votes. Andy says Trump is not engaging in fantasy accusations. Rather, the New York Times and the liberal media and cable TV bobbleheads are the ones who are lying.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin says the New York Times is lying to its readers when it says President Trump’s voter fraud claims are a “fantasy”

Andy documents how Democrats used fraudulent votes to cheat Donald Trump out of New Hampshire’s electoral votes, and how U. S. Senator Kelly Ayotte was defeated on the basis of fraudulent voting and voters

Andy says there is a nationwide crisis with illegal, non-citizen voting in federal elections

(Near the Winter White House, Florida) (January 30, 2017)

Dear American:

I’m temporarily based near the Winter White House in Florida, awaiting the arrival of President Trump next weekend. But don’t expect me to vote here based on my temporary presence. Sadly, in my home state of New Hampshire, thousands of illegal, out-of-state voters robbed now-President Donald Trump and Senator Kelly Ayotte of victory in November.

On Saturday, the New York Times carried a lead editorial claiming President Donald Trump’s voter fraud claims were a “fantasy” (please see link #1 below). The New York Times was lying. As an institution that claims to be concerned with factual accuracy, the Times was wrong on the facts, wrong on the law and wrong on “reality.”

As someone who has spent a lifetime fighting political corruption and voter fraud, I am a legitimate expert on the topic. After reading my remarks I hope you will agree that the Times, not Trump, is living in a dream world when it comes to voter fraud.

Fraudulent voting in New Hampshire in November almost certainly cost Senator Kelly Ayotte her U. S. Senate seat and President Trump my state’s electoral votes. Below I will provide the evidence to support my opinion.

The reason Democrats pretend that vote fraud does not exist is because the dominance of the Democratic Party in big cities is based, in part, on election fraud. So Democrats and their supporters in the media have a vested interest in deflecting Trump’s Executive Order calling for an investigation.

  1. If you ask the wrong question you will get the wrong answer

Donald Trump is not a “detail” man when it comes to politics. He is not a researcher. But he has an uncanny sense of what is wrong and what is right with our society. He also has common sense. Trump began making vote fraud claims during the 2016 election. He was spot on.

  1. The media’s response to Trump’s accusations has been to claim there is “no evidence” to support his claims. But why is there no evidence? Because the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations made no efforts to collect the evidence or to mandate that the states conduct authentication tests on their voter records. So it’s easy to accuse Trump and others of lacking “evidence” when the government itself is suppressing collection of that evidence.

  1. When the media focuses on “vote fraud” they invariably suggest that vote fraud involves fraudulent voting on Election Day, that is, persons who vote under another person’s name. Actually, vote fraud has many prongs and manifestations. Voter impersonation is probably one of the least significant. It is actually true that few people show up on Election Day and misrepresent their identity. But voter impersonation, while a serious crime, is a minute part of the problem. What the media try to accomplish by diminishing vote fraud and limiting that fraud to one category is to point to a “tree” instead of to the “forest” of fraud.

  1. The real problem with fraudulent voting arises out of non-citizen voting. Only lawful U. S. Citizens can vote in federal elections. Yet the Democratic Party establishment, and the Clinton and Obama administrations, have systematically prevented any inquiry into the citizenship of registered voters. The result is that in our most populous states with a massive legal and illegal immigrant presence, non-citizen voting is unmonitored, unregulated and uncounted.

  1. In addition to non-citizen voting, there are many other forms of voting abuse. Dead voters “voting,” and multi-state voting are a couple of serious problems, please see links #2 – #4 below.

  1. New Hampshire’s experience with voter fraud

Because New Hampshire allows same day voter registration, thousands of people turn up without even having made the effort to obtain a local New Hampshire driver license or ID. And yet they want to vote. Many of these people – who curiously under New Hampshire law are entitled to vote with an out-of-state ID – then give erroneous addresses to election officials. Confirmation letters are returned (please see link #5 below].

For the November election Clinton campaign officials attempted to have Massachusetts residents temporarily living in New Hampshire vote illegally in New Hampshire; thousands of them, mostly out-of-state students, did. Senator Ayotte lost by 1,000 votes. Ayotte was almost certainly cheated out of reelection by illegal out-of-state voters. Curiously, Ayotte did not demand a recount or challenge invalid voters.

Trump also lost New Hampshire by a narrow margin. Since 6,000 people used out-of-state ID’s to vote, Trump can plausibly claim that he was cheated out of New Hampshire’s electoral votes by illegal Massachusetts voters crossing state lines without any lawful domicile in New Hampshire and casting fraudulent votes.

We can also see “confusing questions” by local media confusing the facts to present a distorted picture. When asked if New Hampshire had a false impersonation voting problem, Secretary of State Bill Gardner correctly said “no.” But he then went on to detail how thousands of people without any New Hampshire ID voted, and how the addresses they gave resulted in returned mail. If giving a false address isn’t fraud, what is? (please see link #5)

Fraudulent same-day registrations, and returned confirmation letters after Election Day, are a chronic problem in New Hampshire. The Union Leader newspaper says Democrats want to encourage illegal voting by non-residents of New Hampshire, please see link #5 (second entry). No surprise there. Although he was attacked for making the same accusation, Governor Sununu also accused Massachusetts voters of crossing over to New Hampshire, please see link #5 (third entry). The Democrats are openly engaging in what politicians call “honest graft.”

My personal opinion is that people without a valid New Hampshire ID should not be allowed to vote. Just in the Trump and Ayotte races, illegal voters almost certainly determined the outcome due to a quirk of federal law. Under the Motor Voter Act, to retain an exception from compliance New Hampshire is required to allow same-day Election Day registration, please see link #6 below.

Not surprisingly, New Hampshire’s newly elected Governor Chris Sununu is calling for election law changes, and State Representative David Bates wants to create a photo data base of voters who lack a local ID, please see link #7. Why not just ban the practice entirely? (Full disclosure: Secretary of State Bill Gardner and I were on the same side in a lawsuit in Strafford County, opposing illegal voting in New Hampshire by persons whose domicile was in another state. Democratic Party operatives supported illegal voting by out-of-state voters.)

  1. Vote fraud across the states

Let me start with a concession: reasonable people can disagree over the total amount of vote fraud and voter intimidation because we do not have hard evidence to confirm the ultimate number. But Florida investigators, for example, found evidence of illegal voting by both illegal and legal aliens (who are not entitled to vote). Please see link #8.

In Chicago, vote fraud is an art. Dead voters? Check? Impersonation voting? Check. Improperly influencing senior citizens in nursing homes to vote Democratic? Check. A good friend of mine was an assistant attorney general in a Republican-held office at the time. He was posted by his political organization to monitor a precinct on Election Day. There was massive vote fraud by Democratic party precinct workers. I could go on and on. Chicago vote fraud elected President John Kennedy in 1960. Over fifty years later the city is still an electoral cesspool.

  1. Why would anyone vote illegally when legal voters do not?

One of the basic memes of liberal media commentators is that “we try to hard to get legal voters to vote, and only 50% show up, so why would an ineligible voter turn up on Election Day?” There are many reasons. Crowd mentality has a powerful psychological impact on individual behavior. Go to church on almost any Sunday and the pews are largely empty. And yet these same empty churches are filled to overcapacity on Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. The impact of public or community psychology on ineligible voters making an effort to turn up on Election Day is thus not surprising. Individuals respond to public pressure and peer behavior.

New Hampshire’s experience is instructive. Because you can register on Election Day without taking even the basic step of obtaining a local New Hampshire ID, people just turn up to vote. I believe many of them are voting illegally because they are domiciled in other states. But I am sure there are also some “lazy voters” who don’t bother to get an ID (legally required to drive) and end up voting because of the peer pressure generated by the media and political organizations.

Under the Motor Voter Act, registering to vote is a no-brainer. You check a couple of boxes and registration is automatically performed for you. But are these motor voter registrants or welfare recipients actually legal U. S. Citizens? No one knows. All efforts to find out have been stymied by Democratic Party officials.

  1. What are my suggestions?

  1. I like New Hampshire’s approach. We do not make it easy to vote early. Absentee voting is limited and early voting is not allowed. So people actually show up on Election Day and vote! What a surprise. People who make the effort to vote show genuine interest. They are certainly not voting in late September or early October when the election campaign is in its early stages.

  1. Because the federal government has an interest in voting, see the federal Motor Voter Act (link #6 below), Congress could require states to update voter data bases by (i) requiring new registrants to establish citizenship and/or (ii) requiring states to verify that existing voters were citizens. There would be an initial burden, but people could be assisted to comply.

  1. Whatever approach is ultimately adopted, we must mandate that only lawful U. S. Citizens participate in our federal elections. Period. We must also mandate that a person can only be registered to vote in one location, which is that person’s domicile, usually determined by a driver license. Showing up to register or vote with an out of state ID is an insult to ballot integrity. And, as we have seen in just one state, in just one election, voter fraud and manipulation in November cost Trump New Hampshire’s votes and elected an illegal U. S. Senator.

By now, I hope you agree with me that President Trump is “on to something” when he claims voter fraud is a serious problem and wants an investigation (please see link #9 below). I have just shown how he was cheated out of New Hampshire’s votes by Clintonista election corruption. And, in my opinion, Senator Kelly Ayotte was also cheated out of her reelection by voting trickery and fraud.

That’s why I believe the New York Times is lying. What happened in New Hampshire, happened in other states, particularly New York, Illinois and California. Popular vote anyone? I do not trust the numbers and neither should you. Instead of ridiculing Trump, the media should be endorsing Trump’s call for an investigation. That call will never come. Liberal election fraud and liberal state voter fraud is as American as apple pie. Put another way, the media are not about to upset the liberals’ vote fraud applecart.

Andy Martin: The Failed Presidency of Barack Obama

Although he now lives in New Hampshire, in 2017 Republican Andy Martin celebrates fifty years as a corruption fighter in Illinois politics, and forty years as the last surviving participant in the watershed 1977 Chicago mayoral election which began the process of temporarily toppling the Daley Machine. By coincidence, Andy encountered Barack Obama as a young state senator in the 1990’s and began to follow Obama’s progress. In 2004 Andy was the first writer/analyst to expose Obama’s fraudulent résumé. And the rest is, as they say, history. For the past thirteen years Andy has been writing about Obama because Andy understood the president in ways few others did. And now it ends. The South Side guy who “couda been a contendah” has written himself a one-way ticket to post-presidential oblivion. Read Andy’s analysis of the “failed presidency of Barack Obama” and judge for yourself. Obama, the “Ozymandias” of American politics, is on his way to Palookaville.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin on Barack Obama’s “Final Days”

(Manchester, NH) (January 11, 2017)

Dear American:

As you know, I worked hard to elect Donald Trump. We came close to winning New Hampshire for Trump. I’ll have lots more to say about Donald in the days ahead. But today belongs to Barack (Barry) Hussein Obama. Barack Obama, the failed president.

Thirteen (13!) years ago I became the first analyst to expose Obama as a fraud, please see link #1 below. Ten (10!) years ago I published “Obama Week,” a series of columns exposing Obama, and predicted he would be a failed president if he won the White House. Those columns later became the first book to present an unvarnished view of Obama, please see link #2 below. In 2008 I became the first independent researcher and analyst to investigate Obama’s family history in Hawai’i and called Obama “the greatest entertainer in the world.” Was he ever.

Obama was a feel-good entertainer. He made us feel good about ourselves because he felt good about himself, worshipped himself really. Amazingly, he made it to the White House despite a total lack of professional accomplishments and leadership experience. Obama was all about himself. Obama promised grand dreams and great works but ultimately, like the “King of Kings” Ozymandias in the poem by Shelley, Obama was and will always be a failed president. But Obama didn’t fail us in his mind. We failed him.

One of the greatest lines in cinema is Brando’s I couda been a contendah” in “On The Waterfront,” please see link #3 below. But like the failed boxer who got a “one way ticket to Palookaville,” Obama is now on the way to his own eternal Palookaville where Obama will preach great sermons about his accomplishments to an empty house.

Obama says he is going to continue to lead, comment and rally Democrats. Just tell that to Senator Chuck Schumer and other ambitious politicians. The day Obama leaves the White House he will be through. He’ll still be a big draw in Hollywood and the liberal salons from coast to coast, the same way Bill Clinton endures as a shadow of his former self. But Obama’s legacy will turn to dust and be consumed by desert sand.

Why did he fail?

I was probably Obama’s first antagonist and first analyst, because I had a unique position from which to observe him. In a few weeks I will celebrate forty years (count’em) since I led reform in the City of Chicago, and I’m the last living mayoral candidate that fought to liberate the city in 1977 after the death of the first Mayor Daley. Fifty years ago as a young law student I began to fight corruption in Illinois politics. Today the grandchildren of some of the thugs I helped send to jail are budding political crooks. Chicago was once called a “city in chains” by Ovid Demaris. Sadly, even in the present the city is still chained to its past.

Long ago I moved back to New Hampshire, where my family had settled over 100 years ago. But I still visit Chicago and still have great affection for the place.

Obama was a product of Chicago politics though he would deny the fact. He came from the liberal precincts of Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, where I often have lunch with friends when I visit the city. He played by “Machine” rules although he was not himself part of the political Machine. And he once ran an honest campaign, for the U. S. Senate in 2004. I know; I was there.

Obama and I originally go back to the 1990’s when he was a newly-elected state senator in Springfield. I saw his “game,” and he had great moves. In his early years he learned from his mistakes and he always cultivated wealthy patrons who were enchanted by his charms as an entertainer. No one has ever gone as far with so little in American politics. But Obama never became a “contendah” once he reached the Oval Office. On the contrary. he devastated the Democratic Party that elected him. He endangered national security. And he is given “credit” for giving rise to Donald Trump as his successor.

On the surface, Obama and Trump could not be more different. But I suspect that internally they are more alike than they would care to admit. Just as Obama almost single-handedly won the White House through his undeniable charms, Trump similarly won the White House when almost everyone but he believed that his campaign was a lost cause. In their own ways, both men exhibited the true grit that can lead to greatness, or abject failure.

Honestly, I can’t believe that we are only days, hours really, from what I believe will be an ignominious end to Obama. As noted, he will still be welcome in celebrity precincts but his role as a Democratic party leader will end abruptly and abjectly. Senator Bernie Sanders has more of a political future than Obama.

I have known Trump since the 1970’s. And early last year in one of my “letters” I admonished him not to betray his supporters. He didn’t. He won an unwinnable race.

Sadly for his liberal supporters, Obama did betray his followers. He promised but didn’t deliver. In his speech Tuesday he called out the South Side of Chicago, the killing fields of the South Side where an African-American genocide is being perpetrated by African-Americans on African-Americans. Obama polarized the nation like no one before him in the past fifty years. Now he claims we are a divided nation and our democracy is fragile. But who divided us? Obama.

Obama’s life has been a remarkable odyssey, from the child of a somewhat unstable mother, through being the protégé of communist Frank Marshall Davis, very probably his biological father, to the machinations of Chicago politics and finally to the Oval Office. But legacy? I don’t think Obama will have much of one. Dismantling his executive orders and abuses of presidential power will not take long. Erasing his “legacy” will be a matter of weeks and maybe months, not years.

Obamacare? Unwinding that mess will not be easy and may take longer. Obamacare, moreover, will be the great example of why he was/is a failed president.

Over the decades both parties had failed to deal with failings in our health care system, largely due to the enormity of the challenges. Republicans failed and Democrats failed. Many attempted but no one succeeded in reaching the mountaintop. Until Obama.

And he could have built a legacy that endured for the ages. Sadly, due to his own character flaws, he didn’t. Obama wanted to show his opponents he was in control, that he had defeated them. And in the process he defeated himself.

If Obama had thrown Republican a few bones, such as intestate sales of insurance, health savings accounts and a few other harmless provisions, and trimmed some of the managerial excesses of his health plan, he could have enacted almost all of his agenda with Republican support. Instead he froze Republicans out, and the American People then froze Obama out. Obama snatched defeat from the jaws of victory while still proclaiming he had “won” when in reality he had lost badly. He betrayed his supporters and energized his opponents. So what could have been a massive success ultimately turned into an utter failure due to the president’s overweening ego and insufferable triumphalism.

So, yes, Obama “couda been a “contendah.” But ultimately, he wrote his own ticket to Palookaville. That will be his enduring legacy. Because the two men are so similar in many personality traits hopefully Obama’s failure will be a warning to Trump.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin endorses New Hampshire U S Senator Kelly Ayotte in last-minute appeal

(Manchester, NH) (November 8, 2016)

Dear New Hampshire neighbor:

If you have not yet voted, or are waiting in line to vote (and are seeing this message on a smart phone or similar device) please vote to reelect U S Senator Kelly Ayotte.

Some of you have been unhappy with Senator Ayotte’s performance in office. I know the list of complaints. But there is more good than bad in Senator Ayotte’s record. She deserves reelection. We deserve a senator motivated by honesty and integrity. Senator Ayotte is a decent human being. I have campaigned alongside her at various events and have had the opportunity to observe her up close. I have also studied her record.

Senator Ayotte is not perfect. No candidate and certainly no public official is. You have probably heard the expression “politics is the art of the possible” many times. Today, Election Day, Senator Ayotte is the only choice for a sensible Granite State voter.

If anyone has reason to be unhappy with Ayotte, it’s me. Kelly is far too close to Jennifer Horn. Horn’s cabal has led Kelly into a disastrous series of intra-party interventions here at home in New Hampshire. I hope after the election that Kelly will sit down with me so I can explain why conservatives are so unhappy. In particular, I wish she would keep her distance from Senators McCain and Graham.

Nevertheless Kelly’s opponent, Maggie Hassan, is the most despicable senate candidate in the nation. As I said, no candidate and no official is perfect. But Hassan is objectively evil by any rational standard. Hassan’s cover-up of child molesting at Phillips Exeter Academy was the worst personal scandal I have observed in fifty years of national political activism. Hassan’s failure to protect helpless adolescents was a failure of character and basic decency.

My views in this letter are my own. No one has asked me to endorse Senator Ayotte. I do so only because in my conscience I see Kelly as the only one for New Hampshire’s future. I hope you do too.

Because of the closeness of the race it is possible that only a handful of votes could separate Ayotte from her opponents. We have a history of close votes in New Hampshire.

Please vote to reelect Senator Ayotte.

Chicago news conference – Andy Martin explains why Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner computer is a smoking gun

Chicago news conference today: Corruption fighter and conservative Republican columnist/blogger Andy Martin explains why the Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner computer may be a “smoking gun” in the Clinton email scandal and thus is such a critical piece of evidence. Andy says Huma’s computer may be the “missing link” or “smoking backup” in the expanding Clinton email server scandal.

October 31 Chicago news conference details:

Who:

National and New Hampshire corruption fighter and conservative columnist/blogger Andy Martin

What:

“Internet powerhouse” Andy Martin offers his analysis and explains why the Abedin/Weiner laptop computer may be a “smoking gun” in the Clinton email scandal

Where:

Sidewalk news conference, SE corner of Huron and Wabash Streets, Chicago (weather permitting; otherwise indoors)

When:

Monday, October 31, 2016; 6:00 P.M.

Andy Martin says Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner laptop computer was probably set as “backup” for the original Clinton email server in 2009

Andy says no one could have processed the reported “hundreds of thousands” of emails on the laptop, so much of the content on the Abedin/Weiner computer must have been placed there automatically

Andy says the Abedin/Weiner computer may be “the missing link” or “smoking gun” in the email scandal and Abedin’s role makes that possibility more likely than not

Andy says the Abedin/Weiner computer may be the “smoking gun,” in reality the “smoking backup,” computer in the growing Clinton email scandal

“If Huma lied to the FBI,” Andy says, “she and Clinton go down; Anthony Weiner also has an incentive to sing”

(CHICAGO) (October 31, 2016) Andy Martin, the corruption-fighting independent Internet columnist and blogger with over a half-century of experience in national politics, will hold a Chicago news conference Monday, October 31st to explain his analysis of the significance of the Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner laptop computer now being examined by the FBI.

Andy can be reached in Chicago at (312) 440-4124.

“I have been studying the Clinton email sever scandal since it arose eighteen months ago,” Andy says. “But I was challenged by what I thought were the missing pieces or open questions of the situation. The latest reporting on the Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner computer finally crystalized for me at least one ‘missing link:’ Where was the original backup for Clinton’s Chappaqua server?

“I am not a technical expert but I do have systems integration experience due to my worldwide collection of information, most recently in the Middle East in August.

“Not the first, but probably the second or third question a systems manager would ask is ‘where is the backup going to be hosted?’

“Here is what we know: First, Bryan Pagilano initially had a piece of ‘iron’ in the Clinton’s basement. That was a stand-alone server. There almost certainly had to be a back-up hosted somewhere else. No one creates a network without a backup. Given that the backup could not be hosted at the State Department, and given the Clinton’s reluctance to open their circle to many people, the backup had to be hosted off-site and with a trusted person. That’s where the Abedin laptop computer becomes my focal point. Pagliano probably asked ‘where do we put the backup copy?’ and someone said ‘why not Huma’s computer. That’s in a secure place.’

“Second, latest reports indicate there may be as many as many as 650,000 emails on the Abedin/Weiner computer (please see link below). There is no way a human being could manage that many emails. So many of those emails had to be placed on the Abedin/Weiner computer automatically, most likely through some sort of automatic backup program.

“Third, Platte River Networks did not start servicing the Clinton server until June, 2013. Where was, the backup hosted between 2009 and 2013?

“Fourth, Huma may have lied to the FBI about the contents of her home computer; Anthony Weiner has every incentive to cut a deal to save his own skin. We have two people who are tottering, each of whom could sink Hillary Clinton, Inc.

“To summarize, we have a missing backup location dating from at least 2009 to 2013, we have hundreds of thousands of emails mysteriously appearing on a computer at the home of Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner and we know Abedin was Clinton’s most trusted confidante. The conclusion that the Abedin/Weiner computer was in all probability configured as an automatic backup to the Clinton Chappaqua server, or was set up to function manually in that capacity, is almost inescapable.

“That is why the FBI was prompted to reopen the investigation.

“That is also why the Abedin computer is such a treasure trove of information. That computer may be the missing link, the only complete record of the Clinton email server’s history,” Andy says. “We continue to work all of our sources to further substantiate our analysis of the significance of the Abedin/Weiner computer. We think the FBI may have stumbled across the smoking gun, rather the ‘smoking backup’ computer of the email scandal.”

Andy is temporarily based in Chicago through November 4th doing election-related investigation, analysis and reporting.

Where:

When:

Monday, October 10, 2016; 5:00 P.M.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin says Donald Trump has scored a major “win” by “losing” Speaker Paul Ryan

Andy says Ryan and many of his naysayers had become excess baggage in the presidential campaign and a negative influence on Trump’s chances of winning

Andy says that the liberal media have become a “Trump lynch mob” and that Trump has now cleared the decks to win as an independent Republican

Andy says that based on Mark Kirk’s disastrous performance at a recent Chicago Tribune editorial board debate, Mark Kirk should “do the right thing” and withdraw as a candidate

(CHICAGO) (October 10, 2016) Andy Martin, the corruption-fighting independent Internet columnist and blogger with over a half-century of experience in national politics, will hold a Chicago news conference Monday, October 10th to explain why Donald Trump “wins” by “losing” Speaker Paul Ryan, and also to call on Mark Kirk to withdraw as a candidate.

Andy can be reached in Chicago at (312) 440-4124.

“I have a longer analysis piece in progress,” Andy says. “But in view of the relentless media lynch mob directed at Donald Trump on Monday I wanted to explain today on an expedited basis how Donald Trump ‘wins’ by ‘losing’ Paul Ryan and how Trump is now free to refashion his campaign to serve the American people.

“I have nothing personal against Paul Ryan. He represents his district and he is elected by his colleagues. That’s fine. But Ryan was a dead weight for Trump and the national campaign.

“Ryan is the man who wanted to gut Medicare. Trump supports Medicare. Ryan is part of the lobbyist-industrial complex. For obvious reasons the lobbyist-industrial complex loathes Trump.

“There is nothing worse than false professions of party unity and personal piety emanating from Ryan and others. I wish Ryan the best. But his departure from the list of Trump’s ‘supporters’ is a major boon for Trump. Likewise, many of the other two-faced Republicans have benefited Trump by denying him.

“Trump’s biggest problem, apart from his colorful past, was that the Republican Party is massively unpopular with ordinary voters. Many Republican Party proposals are anti-consumer and anti-family, this from a party that professes to be pro-family. In the primaries, Trump won by de facto running against the party. He defeated all of the party’s favorites. He won by being a non-ideologue in an increasingly ideological political environment, both Democratic and Republican.

“I don’t agree with everything Trump says, but in my longer analysis I will explain why Trump’s ‘positions’ are immaterial, despite media demands for specificity. I will have more to say with my detailed analysis of why ‘Trump has already won the presidency and must now win the White House.’

“My own half-century of national political experience gives me an independent and ‘contrarian’ view of how skillful leaders can exploit cleavages even within their own ranks. By jettisoning Ryan, politely, Trump can now run as a man of no party who only seeks to serve the people. Trump can say that ideologues have abandoned him, and that Ryan’s departure is an endorsement of his independence. Ryan’s ‘support’ was always lukewarm at best. Ryan’s reliance on the ridiculous ‘sex tape’ as a pretext to withdraw his support of Trump is merely a pretext for ongoing, underlying discomfort related to differences on the real issues facing Americans.

“I don’t know if the Trump team is skillful and nimble enough to exploit Ryan’s departure but if they are, contrary to the latest media hysteria the departure of Paul Ryan and any fellow travelers will free Trump to win the White House. He has already won the presidency.

“The media have created a toxic environment and lynch mob atmosphere because the media is hardwired into Paul Ryan and the lobbyist-industrial-Clinton complex, not Donald Trump and the American people.”

Andy is temporarily based in Chicago through Election Day.

Corruption fighter Andy Martin: Why I still support Donald Trump for president; and how the media are destroying America

Corruption fighter Andy Martin explains why he still supports Donald Trump for president, and why and how the media is destroying America. Andy says the media attacks on Donald Trump, orchestrated by the Hillary Clinton campaign, are going to boomerang and backfire and will probably elect Trump president. Andy is en route to Chicago where he will hold a Monday news conference supporting Trump and excoriating Illinois Senator Mark Kirk. Andy calls the media assault on the Republican Party’s presidential candidate “a de facto left-wing coup attempt to nullify the votes of the American people.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin says Donald Trump needs a “Checkers moment” at the debate on Sunday night

Andy accuses America’s media of staging a de facto “coup to nullify the votes of the American people”

Andy says America’s media have become an “enemy of the American people”

Andy says massive hypocrisy accompanies the latest political attacks on Trump; Trump’s “sex tape” remarks, while deplorable, are mostly blather and hardly unusual for a man who came to maturity fifty years ago

Andy says “Let’s be clear on the distinction between Donald Trump’s potty mouth and Bill Clinton’s actual sexual attacks on women”

Andy offers a step-step analysis of the Trump “sex tape” brouhaha

Andy says, “A generation after Bill Clinton introduced the nation’s children to adult sex, another Clinton is once again saturating our public life with sexual conversation, this time for her political gain”

(CHICAGO) (October 9, 2016) “I would like to explain why I still support Donald Trump for president,” says corruption fighter and maverick Republican Andy Martin.

“During the past couple of days media hypocrisy and corruption have reached a new high, and the American people are now under assault by a left-wing media’s attempt to stage a de facto coup against the American people.” Andy is en route to a Chicago news conference where he will defend Donald Trump and attack Senator Mark Kirk.

“Donald Trump’s vulgar speech decades ago is no surprise. It has been a staple of media controversy since Megyn Kelly’s original question fourteen months ago at the first Republican candidates’ debate. What is new is the way the media are trying to starve the presidential campaign of substance, and are acting as an arm of the Clinton campaign by spewing forth Hillary’s sexual smut about Trump as legitimate campaign coverage.

“The Washington Post reporter who received the latest Trump ‘sex tape’ knew his source. In other words, unlike the claims of the New York Times that an envelope mysteriously appeared in the Times mail room with excerpts from Trump’s tax return, reporter David Farenthold admits he knew his source. Well, who was this ‘known’ source? Obviously a Clinton campaign mudslinger.

“A generation ago, in the 1990’s, Bill Clinton’s sexual adventures in the Oval Office coarsened this nation’s conversation. Today another Clinton, Hillary, is coarsening the nation’s politics by seeking to use sexual smears to defeat Donald Trump. The Clintons are both despicable human beings.

“Let’s look at the reality of what Trump has called a ‘distraction,’ and what is nothing less than Hillary’s effort to cheapen our politics with irrelevant sexual smut.

  1. Hypocrisy is in flower, thanks to the Clintons, again

“It is clear that Clinton’s dirt diggers and friends in the media are the source of the latest sex tape, and perhaps there are more to come. But what of it? What is relevant about Donald Trump’s pathetic conversation on a bus eleven years ago? Our free commercial television is saturated with sexual innuendo and increasingly with sexual artifice. Cable television is flooded with sexual images and activity. What, exactly, about Trump’s potty-mouthed nonsense is so essential to our national conversation? Nothing but grabbing more power and money for the Clintons. They are literally defacing our national political season with their obscene activity.

“Hypocrisy is in season. Who was among the first to jump on Trump? Why Jeb Bush of course. But Bush had a mistress in Tallahassee and a full-blown sex scandal when he was governor of Florida. David Letterman has been prominently featured for calling Trump ‘damaged.’ Compared to Letterman, Trump is a choirboy. Letterman was a sexual predator on the stage of his own late-night show. Letterman was notorious for his sexual predations on his staff. Letterman literally had to apologize for his misdeeds. Now he is a ‘conscience’ for men of morality? Letterman is ‘damaged,’ not Trump.

  1. The 1960’s are still with us

“Fifty-five years ago I went to work as a busboy in an excusive restaurant to support my ‘family,’ a 1955 Plymouth. Most of the waiters and busboys cracked gross jokes and acted out gross memes. In retrospect, it was what the world looked like in the Mad Men era. Then I went to Illinois to play football. There was real ‘locker room banter’ in Memorial Stadium, not Trump’s pussytalk.

“Donald Trump not only grew up in another era, he grew up two eras ago. His language a decade ago still reflected the period when he was a teenager and college student.

“Hillary also has a potty mouth, but no one mentions that fact. What about Hillary’s swearing and abuse of public servants such as the Secret Service? Silence from the media. Another cover-up.

“Is Trump the only candidate who talks trash? They both do.

  1. Trump’s fibbing finally catches up with him

“I first met Trump in 1978 or 79. I see him in my church occasionally, and have been to Mar A Lago. I don’t see him trash talking today. Back in the 70’s? I am sure he did. But most of what Trump has always said was fibbing. He lied about his buildings; do you suppose he didn’t exaggerate about his women as well?

“Celebrities do get away with behavior that is scorned by ordinary people. Is that an inaccurate statement worthy of endless repetition on cable TV? Eleven years ago Trump was a celebrity, nothing more. Is it surprising that he said celebrities get special treatment? Not to me. Trump’s language, looked at in isolation a decade latter, is despicable. Looked at as part of his typical theater of banter, exaggeration, fibbing and sheer nonsense, he was merely being in character while trying to impress a lightweight like Billy Bush.

  1. The coming backlash and boomerang of the American people

“If Hillary Clinton plans to conduct her campaign for the next month by releasing sex tapes and garbage from the Howard Stern Show – the latest source of ‘news’ on CNN –  and other lurid locations, and the media fosters her filthy strategy of polluting our national conversation, there will be an incredible backlash and boomerang against the media and against Clinton.

“Trump will win the presidency.

“Trump has never denied who he was and what he was; his history of over-the-top behavior is what made him a credible candidate in the first place. But do we really need to listen to Hillary’s continuing release of smut just because she can’t run a campaign and can’t win on her own issues? I don’t think the American people will stand for Hillary’s strategy. She is polluting our nation with unnecessary sexuality the same way her husband did a generation ago. The Clinton’s are bad people.

“The fact that the liberal media, which have launched an unprecedented campaign of personal destruction against Trump, are supporting Clinton’s ‘smut strategy’ is disgraceful. Trump’s imbecilic language was maybe worth a brief mention or two. His remarks a decade ago should in no way be allowed to disrupt a discussion of the issues.

  1. Hello evangelicals: there is no sinner like a reformed sinner

“Evangelicals know something about sin, and sinners. They know that reformed sinners can be the straightest people of all. I suspect Trump would be a very ‘straight’ president in the White House. He is a reformed sinner.

  1. Trump better have a “Checkers” moment ready

“In 1952, vice presidential candidate Richard Nixon rescued his candidacy after a disclosure of a slush fund used to fund his personal expenses. Nixon gave the famous ‘Checkers’ speech and saved himself. I hope Trump has a Checkers strategy ready. He needs one.

  1. Finally, I would rather be led by a jerk than a crook

“There is always the chance that I am right, that Trump is a reformed sinner and that he would be a decent president. How could he be worse than Hillary, who is now exposed by Wikileaks as calling for open borders? I don’t know.

“I do know for sure the Clintons are crooks. They have sold out our nation from the Secretary of State’s office the same way they sold out the Lincoln Bedroom when they were in the White House. Let’s be honest: the Clintons are trash.

“Honestly, if I have to choose between being led by a jerk or a crook, I will choose the jerk every time.

“I am not going to condemn most of those who have dumped Trump; many of them weren’t supporting him to begin with. It’s a free country and both public officials and candidates are still entitled to run their own campaigns. But I hold a special contempt for Senator Mark Kirk. Kirk is a sick man. One of his arms has to be lashed down to a wheelchair. He can’t walk. He can’t speak. His mind is squiffy. Kirk’s doctor’s concept of ‘cognitive recovery’ is a joke. The Republican Party has no business supporting a sick man for the strenuous job of U. S. Senator. Yet Republicans have no problem supporting a vegetable like Kirk, while they condemn Trump for goofy remarks he made over a decade ago.

“I vote in New Hampshire, so I can’t vote against Kirk. But Kirk is a disgrace to the Republican Party. I would dump Kirk before I would dump Trump.

“Donald is quite right when he says he has done some stupid things. He has. He has done a lot of bad acts. He has committed a lot of sins. But as between the Clinton’s cravenness, that probably cost some Americans their lives because of Hillary’s skeevy server, and Trump, who is a genuine patriot, I will stand by Trump every time.

“Please join me in supporting Donald Trump. He’s not a perfect choice. But he’s clearly the best choice for president,” Andy says. “Bill Clinton disgraced this nation with his sexual appetites and misconduct. Unlike Trump, who is a blabbermouth, Clinton is a rapist. Bill Clinton defiled our national home. Hillary defended her husband the rapist and excoriated his victims; now she is flooding our national conversation with irrelevant sexuality to detract attention from her own failed campaign and failed character.

“Someone should step down as a candidate and withdraw. And that’s Hillary, not Donald. Hillary is the real disgrace.

“As for the media, they are trying to stage a coup and deprive the American people of a rational and informed presidential campaign. The media are carrying Hillary Clinton’s dung, and they should and will be held accountable by decent American voters.”
